A beloved community tradition since 1948, the Los Altos Kiwanis Pet Parade is a celebration that attracts thousands of people every year to Downtown Los Altos. Traditionally, this free Los Altos Heritage Event is held annually on Saturday prior to Mother’s Day. Hundreds of kids and their pets — dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turtles and even worms — participate. Make sure to register your pets ahead of time. Space fills up quickly so we recommend arriving by 10 am to ensure your pets are seen the same day. If the clinic fills up early, we may not be able to see all clients until the following week.
